Recently I started to mount many of my orchids (especially species) on cypress/cedar wood and noticed they are really like these woods. Roots were growing well. Cedar has nature pleasant smell and also insect repellent to some degrees. I also was fortune enough to acquired a few truck load of cedar recently. Been working splitting/chainsawing woods and put orchid plants on the mount. I have enough amount of them now to share! For sales is a lot of 6 small cedar cookies with drilled holes for aeration. Since orchid can be mounted either horizontally or vertically I won t put wire hooks on unless requested. Excellent for mounting miniature orchids or airplants. These woods are awesome light weight and tough/weather resistant not to rot easily. Cedar also has natural odor that is insect repellent! If you have preference of hole drill (or not) and with wire hanger (or not) please let me know with a note.
